Yes. That is a Trigger safety. Many polymer guns have that as a safety feature. To fire the gun, that blade needs to be depressed along with the trigger.

Hi Daniel, yes that is a trigger safety. Trigger Safety. The trigger safety’s purpose is to prevent the trigger mechanism from being actuated in the event the firearm was accidentally dropped.
