Good evening to you!! The Girsan MC1911S Liberador II 45 ACP Semi Auto Pistol doesn't have an optics cut. You can remove the rear sight and install a Novak style optic mount. Has anybody bought this 45 ACP Chrome plate pistol recently, is it really as nice as it looks on the website and does it have good rifling in the barrel and is the action smooth, it appears to be very beautiful, I'm still in the fence about buying it any info would help me make the right.... decision....thank you

From research there was a version of this gun with a red dot but it is no longer in production this gun does not have a red dot nor is the slide machined for optics

This pistol is not optics ready. Would require removing the rear sight and an adapter plate.

Disappointed in the imperfections left on the slide. Rest of the gun is fine but when you expect to get perfect finish and it turns out less than what you expected. Very disappointing.Other than that that gun shoot great.

Just received my pistol today very beautiful has a very strong spring in it, I should be able to shoot 45 +p rounds without no problem, the rifling in the barrel appears to be 12,000 deep and action is smooth the triggers a little bit hard,I say five pounds, but again from what I can see first with out shooting it, it's a very high quality 45 ACP, I don't see how anything can get any better for looks and quality manufacturing and fitting is excellent,Sincerely Tracy
