Fit and finish on it's really nice and really has excellent rifling in the bore of the rifle, the only thing I see that's not right with it is the front sight is not dovetailed, it's welded on the barrel,and the back sight is a ladder site with no numbers marked for yardage on ladder back site....

this is a really well done 1892 reproduction. Fit and finish is excellent. Dead accurate. Extremely smooth action. Light and trim.

I cannot believe the guy below compared this rifle to a Rossi. This is a solidly built gun that is light weight and shoots straight. Sights are much better than my Henry! Awesome guns totally impressed with the fit and finish. Would like to get on in 24inch barrel in .357

I have several rossi 92's and this cimarron / chiappa is by far the best i own. Action is slick and sights were right on out of the box. The wood is way better than any rossi I've seen. If you want a quality period correct 1892 you won't be disappointed. I would prefer this model over the japanese winchester any day.

All in all, The gun is nice but probably not worth the extra money over a Rossi. The wood is okay, but not nicely figured like some other Cimmarons I have seen and with a rather shiny finish .which does not look very vintage. The rear sight is neat but a little loose. The action is very slick. Case colors are attractive. In conclusion, I think the Rossi is the better value.
