Ruger American Ranch Rifle Gen II 5.56x45 NATO 16.1" Spiral Fluted, Threaded, 10+1 FDE Splatter Stock
Features:
- Splatter finished stock provides excellent grip without being too sharp or abrasive
- Soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for
easy shouldering and improved geometry that progressively collapses to
reduce felt recoil.
- Removing the installed spacer allows for length of pull to be
adjusted from 13.75" to 12". Additional spacers available through Ruger.
- Installed low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics but can be removed when utilizing low-mounted sights.
- Professionally applied Cerakote coating on barrel, muzzle brake,
receiver and bolt handle results i a durable, easy-to-maintain finish.
- Medium contour barrel features deep spiral flutes that reduce
weight at the muzzle end of the barrel to improve balance without
sacrificing stiffness or accuracy.
- Compact, threaded barrel with factory-installed radial port muzzle brake is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
- Intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing inadvertent bolt opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
- Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user-adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds.

I ordered the Ruger American Ranch Rifle Gen II in 5.56 NATO from Bud’s Gun Shop (along with a couple of pistols) and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience and this fantastic rifle. Buying Experience: Bud’s Gun Shop is always a pleasure to deal with—ordering online was quick and hassle-free, and the rifle shipped out promptly. I received regular updates, and my local FFL had everything ready to go when it arrived. Packaging was secure, and the rifle was in perfect shape right out of the box. First Impressions & Features: The Gen II upgrades on this model are a real step up. The FDE splatter stock not only looks great, but feels solid and comfortable. The action is smooth, and the spiral fluted barrel gives the rifle a distinctive look while helping with weight reduction. The threaded barrel is perfect for adding a suppressor or muzzle device. It accepts AR mags, which makes it even more versatile for range days or field use. Performance: The rifle is lightweight and easy to handle, with excellent accuracy right out of the box. The trigger is crisp, and cycling the bolt is smooth and reliable. I mounted a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44mm scope using the factory rail, and after zeroing, I was shooting tight groups at 100 yards with standard 55gr ammo. The recoil is minimal, and the ergonomics are excellent for both new and experienced shooters. The rifle + scope hit the $1k total price point I was looking for. Ruger + Vortex knocked it out of the park for this price and would be difficult to beat. Final Thoughts: Whether you’re looking for a handy ranch rifle, a truck gun, or just a fun and reliable range companion, the Ruger American Ranch Gen II is hard to beat for the price. Bud’s Gun Shop made the whole process easy and stress-free. Highly recommend both the rifle and Bud’s if you’re thinking about picking one up.

Could not be happier with this purchase. Put a whopper of a Vortex scope on it and it shoots quarter size groups at 50 yards- this rifle is more accurate than I ever will be. Can't wait to get it out to 100 yards and beyond.

Light, handy, works perfectly and accurate. Love it with the 10 round mags. putting anything more is defeating the purpose as the mag gets in the way of sling carry or prone shooting'

Bought this for my son and absolutely love it!! Put an old nikon on it and the kid was off to the races. Only thing I dislike is you have to buy an adapter plate for the buttstock if you remove the spacer. Likes most the ammo we have fed it, 55-75gr 10 different brands.
