Features
- Splatter finished stock provides excellent grip without being too sharp or abrasive
- Soft rubber recoil pad features a large radius on the heel for
easy shouldering and improved geometry that progressively collapses to
reduce felt recoil.
- Removing the installed spacer allows for length of pull to be
adjusted from 13.75" to 12". Additional spacers available through Ruger.
- Installed low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics but can be removed when utilizing low-mounted sights.
- Professionally applied Cerakote coating on barrel, muzzle brake,
receiver and bolt handle results i a durable, easy-to-maintain finish.
- Medium contour barrel features deep spiral flutes that reduce
weight at the muzzle end of the barrel to improve balance without
sacrificing stiffness or accuracy.
- Compact, threaded barrel with factory-installed radial port muzzle brake is cold hammer-forged, resulting in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
- Intuitive three-position tang safety locks the bolt, preventing inadvertent bolt opening while allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.
- Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user-adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds.

I bought this rifle for my first suppressed firearm. Paired with a YHM suppressor, it is amazingly quiet. I compare it to a BB gun. The action is not as smooth as the other bolt actions I own or have fired. There is a lot of play in the action when working the bolt. Sometimes the bolt feels a little sticky/ stiff from the pressure of the magazine spring. To me it’s not a big deal, you just have to work the bolt harder, but when I let some others shoot it, I could see them struggle with it. I like that it uses standard AR mags. I shot a variety of ammo to see what ammo groups the best with it. I found the tightest groups with sub sonic ammo were both Hornady. I don’t regret purchasing this gun, if you are looking for a rifle to suppress and want Hollywood “whisper” quiet, this gun worked for that. Installing the suppressor was simple.Take the compensator off and screw on the suppressor and done.

I had an Outstanding experience ordering and receiving my new Ruger American 300 black out. I couldn't find it anywhere and I called the Knoxville Buds and they didn't have it. They checked the Kentucky store and it was there. When right on line and within minutes the purchased was made. I had it shipped to my local gun store. 3 days later it was in my hands. I will be ordering from Buds again soon.

I love this rifle. It is a very accurate and light weight. I bought this as a first deer rifle for my son. He was able to take a monster deer and big doe with it - both o my ran 20-30 yards.

If your looking for a hog or deer killing machine this is it. The Gen 2 is head and shoulders over the gen 1. The threaded barrel and the suppressor I put on it makes it whisper quiet. The fluted barrel is great nd the adjustable stock will work great for my young grand daughters and wife to enjoy shooting this gun. Again thanks bud"s for a great price and ease of purchase.

Gen II Ranch rifle. What a fun rifle to shoot! Short, lightwieght and handles very well. The 300 blk caliber has really mild recoil. Perfect for a new or young shooter! The 3-position safety, fluted barrel and adjustable stock really set the Gen II apart from the previous model.
