This was my first carry comp, the S&W Shield Plus. It is a very good shooter! I like it well enough that I bought a Shield Plus with red dot for my ex wife. I wish I had gotten her the carry comp instead! Bud's service is great!

Buds absolutely perfect. S&W always great and giving a pass... 15 rd will only hold 13. Played with it, took to the gunsmith at my place and said may be a QA issue but definitely not holding any more than 13. Sooo... gotta buy more mags. $$$ Shot perfect groups at 7 an 15 yards. My practice zones. Factory sights dead on. Wish 3 dot but oh well. Will be putting a red dot on it. Ran light to heavy and steel case. Chewed them all up and spit out. 400+ rounds. 115gr it seems to do best with. Only m&p without grip modules but it fits my large hand fine. Disappears for edc....

Picked up the M&P9 Shield Plus Carry Comp and it’s exactly what I wanted in a carry gun. The trigger is clean, recoil is super manageable for the size, and the comp actually does make a noticeable difference in follow-up shots. Fits well in the hand, no reliability issues so far, and the factory sights are solid. Overall, it’s a great EDC option if you want something slim but confident.

Love this thing. I was skeptical that the comp would do much, but it seems to do something, I think. More importantly is that this is a pistol that is completely different when you put a dot on it. It was one experience with the irons. I was like, it’s fine. But when I put a dot on it, it was a beast. Haven’t carried it so I can’t speak to that. Great pistol.

Great pistol. Fits my hands much better than my Glock 26, has better grip texture, and is easy to shoot and keep on target. These new micro compacts seem to be the way to go now. Highly recommend.
