The RAPIDE(DAWN). A truly unique 1911 with stepped cocking serrations, slide lightening cuts for faster Slide lock-up and TiN coated barrel for extreme durability. Equipped with Kimber Stiplex TM front strap stippling and Gray/Black G10 Rapide patterned grips for extra griping confidence. Kimpro Silver finish with brush polished flats finish off the stunning looks.

The gun is beautiful and was shipped quickly. Absurd that Kimber ships a gun at the price point with only 1 magazine. It's also a soft case (granted a very nice one) and not a hard case. Gun operates fine except the magazine catches on the mag release when inserted. If you push mag release in slightly the mag goes in fine. Also if you slap the mag in hard it will not catch on the release, but its harder than you would want to push it.

Received transfer just as Bud’s described. Broke the seal and inspected a very tight and solid 45 acp with no apparent issues. It did not disappoint at the range after cleaning. Trigger at average 4.5 lbf and smooth as butter. It may become my go to weapon once broken in. 5 Stars

This is the nicest 1911 45 I’ve ever held. It is worth every penny. If you’re in the market for a new 1911 45, then I’d strongly suggest the Kimber Rapide Dawn. It’s a little more $ than your average 1911, but when you see, hold, and then shoot this beauty you will k ow where the extra money went. A+
