  Hi Grant, unfortunately no, this is not Illinois complaint. The PDP PRO-X Compact features a 4-inch slide and threaded barrel, seamlessly paired with a Parker Mountain Machine compensator.
  A threaded barrel is prohibited on a semi-auto pistol in Illinois.

• Q: why isn't layaway available for this gun i live in nj and have to wait at least 30 days for my permit

  Hi Christopher, layaway is available, just put it in your cart and proceed to checkout. When you get to the payment page, layaway will be available as a payment option.
  Also, if you are waiting on a permit, you can ask the FFL if there are any fees to hold the gun for you. I am in NJ, and my FFL will hold the gun indefinitely at no charge while waiting for a pistol permit.

• Q: Can this accept the 18 round Walther magazine?

  Hi Dylan, yes sir, this will accept 18rd magazines as well. Make sure to get magazines specifically made for the compact model.
  Do not use the full size mags on the PDP Compact or you may damage your pistols ejector.
