My Ruger Max-9 came with a 3.2" barrel and slide and worked flawlessly. However, I purchased a Ruger 4" barrel and slide. The 4" slide is loose on the frame and rattles like a WWII surplus 1911. The accuracy is not close to the 3.2" barrel at 15 yards and more like improved cylinder accuracy. I contacted Ruger but never heard back. This slide might work on your frame but this is my experience.
