Kimber has reached the summit of high capacity 1911 design. The 2K11 is the most capable, out-of-the-box, high-capacity 1911 variant available. From hammer to muzzle, the 2K11 has been built around all the features Kimber enthusiasts requested. The anchor to this performance starts with an enhanced sub-frame shaped for superior magazine fit and control. It comes standard with an accessory rail for optional lights and lasers. The slide is made of stainless steel and features an external extractor for incredible reliability—a ramped barrel aids in consistent feeding. The new MJD Designs Kevlar® and carbon fiber grip deliver superior strength and echo the slide serrations found on this model. This combines to make the 2K11 a masterpiece of modern firearms design from Kimber.

Received the item, tried to dry fire to test it , it doesn’t work , didn’t accept the transfer , called buds, they sent a return label to FFL… the quality control for an item of this price is not terrible!

Very impressive! Very good attention to detail and fit and finish are what you would expect from a pistol of this quality. Trigger breaks like glass and has become my favorite pistol to shoot!

Got a great deal from Bud’s on this excellent Kimber 2K11. This is a very nice 2011 pistol for the price point. Very nice, indeed, I have a 2011 that I won’t identify, but it was and still is, in fact, considerably more expensive than this. As luck would have it, I had this pistol at the range today and put 150 rounds of 124gr. FMJ thru it. I think it’s pretty much past the break in point as I had zero issues with it. The 2K11 is a very soft shooting pistol with enough weight to absorb most of the felt recoil, with minimal muzzle rise. It has an ingenious one piece full length self capturing guide rod. By pushing the guide rod out about half way, and then with your other hand lightly pressing down and twisting the end of the guide rod it captures the spring and you can lift the entire assembly out. The grips on this pistol are very good and the trigger breaks crisply at about 4.25 lbs. ans has a short reset. It’s capable of shooting accurately, much faster than I can shoot. I paired it with a Holosun H508T green dot. I like it so much I ordered another 2K11 in .45 caliber. If around $2K is your budget, this is your 2011 and Bud’s is the place to get it. An absolutely incredible gun. It's smooth, crisp, shoots flat, and looks amazing. It has a nice weight, but doesn't feel bulky. The trigger is nice and crisp. The slide action is smooth as butter. It's also incredibly controllable. It also looks absolutely incredible, a mixture of futuristic and John Wick. If I could only pick one pistol to shoot for the rest of my life, this would be it hands down.

I wanted a high end 2011 but wasn't prepared to spend 4-5 thousand dollars, I considered less expensive alternatives but held off. I'm glad I did because Kimber's introduction of the 2K11 gave me everything I wanted in a high end 2011 at reasonable price. Fit, finish and features are excellent, you won't want for more. Bud's pricing was enticing, the purchase and delivery was quick and easy.
