First off Buds was amazing like every time I have purchased from them. The firearm itself is a work of art the fit and finish is amazing

I made this purchase on 10/25/25 I received it on or around 11/05/25 I took it out to the range and it miss fired 3 rounds out of the first mag. So I changed the type of ammo and it miss fired every round. these were Remington golden saber bullets this is what I would use when I carry. So at this point my son was shooting some Blazer ammo we tried that nothing. The firing pin was not hitting the primers hard enough to fire them. So after this I put it away and ended the day using my Browning HP, I ran every unfired round through it with zero problems. I tried to call Kimber and never got through to a human, but I did manage to get enough info from the recording to fill out a return for service order. After I sent it in it seemed to be taking a long time to hear from them so I sent an email to CS at this point I got an email saying I had a RMA # and would be getting a label in my email soon, it also said to check my spam folder if I didn't see it. Well its now 12/09/25 and no label yet. If you send your firearm to Kimber for repairs according to their instructions it will take about 2 months to get it back I find this to be ridiculous.I have never owned a Kimber before this is my first one, and I am sure my last one. I bought a Taurus a couple years ago and it was under 200.00 and it has never had a problem running any type of ammo. As for the 1911 micro I always wanted one as a friend carried a colt in .45 so I was excited to get this one. I will end up taking to a local gunsmith for repairs, I also found the injector spring to be very stiff and hard to deal with while pulling the slide back and putting it back in after cleaning the firearm. I do like the look and feel of the firearm I am thinking it will make a really good carry piece if I can get it to work like it should. I have had a few folks at the range who use Kimbers and have had great luck with them, I guess I just got the lemon but still they need to work on their return and repairs system.
