like it so much bought another for the wife, she has a hard time with racking the slides but the pop up barrel makes it easy. buds made getting them effortless

I picked up the Beretta Tomcat .32 expecting a compact, utilitarian piece — what I got was a pleasantly surprising little pistol that punches above its weight. The Tomcat’s slim, compact frame makes it unbelievably comfortable to carry and easy to conceal; it just disappears against the body. Ergonomically it fits my hand well, the controls are intuitive, and the rounded profile doesn’t dig into my palm when I shoulder it. For everyday carry, that comfort factor alone is a huge win. On the range it’s deceptively capable. Recoil is snappy but manageable for a pistol this size — the .32 caliber gives a sharp, confident impulse rather than a punishing kick, which I liked (you get that “brutal” feel without it being uncontrollable). The trigger is crisp enough for quick follow-up shots, and the short barrel plus fixed sights make it point naturally at close-to-moderate distances. It’s not a target gun, but for what it’s designed to do — personal defense and discreet carry — it inspires confidence. Reliability has been solid in my experience: feeds and ejection were consistent, and the action felt smooth after a little break-in. Cleaning and basic maintenance are straightforward, which matters when you want a tool that’s low-fuss. The Tomcat’s aesthetic (classic Beretta lines) is an added bonus — it doesn’t look cheap or toy-like despite being small. Cons to note: magazine capacity and ballistic power are limited compared to larger calibers, and the small grip can be a challenge for people with bigger hands. Bought this for a conceal carry purpose. Works great with the Beretta Kydex holster. Had no problems getting it shipped to the FFL and the condition was great. My only complaint is that it came bone with zero lubricant, other than that it shoots great and fits like a glove in my hand. I’ve been shooting Hornady 60gr critical defense rounds through it and haven’t had a problem with any jams or inconsistencies, and yes it did come with two magazines which was a plus. Overall I recommend the 30x!
