The first of its kind, a premium defense, double barreled, pump, 12 gauge shotgun that quickly fires 16 rounds. Designed for the most discerning shooters who demand extreme firepower and require consistent reliability. The stock has a QR code you can scan with your smart phone or tablet to down load the manual and other information. The spreader choke tubes are designed to shoot a devastating pattern at 25 yards. The choke tubes have Tru-Choke thread patterns. Some pictures show door breachers, these are sold separately.

Really interesting 12 Gauge to shoot. The action takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of the fire, fire, pump rhythm it's a real joy to take to the range. The major downside of this gun to me is cleaning it. It takes a lot more time and effort to disassemble and reassemble than most shotguns. If you like bull-pumps as they are called, I would choose this over an M&P 12 or KSG.

This thing is a BEAST. When you first hold it, you can tell that you’re holding something that is quality. I have put 4 different types of shell into it, and have shot around 200 through it so far and not one malfunction/misfire. It is heavy, but in my opinion it makes the shooting experience a lot smoother. BEWARE! If you bring this to a gun range everyone onsite will want to shoot it. So bring plenty of ammo.

Being a former Marine Security Guard and Police Officer my interest is in home defense. I purchased the DP12 from many reviews and watching many comparison videos. This shotgun is the best self defense weapon you could purchase. If you are looking for a shotgun for self defense this is one to put at the top of your list. The pump action is smooth and really packs a punch.
Buds is where I purchased the DP12 as it was exactly as advertised and represented. It was a fair price and they were great to deal with, very seamless transaction and delivery as expected.
I upgraded my DP12 with the accessories kit purchased from Standard Mfg. and in the process I lost a couple of the small nuts that are part of the for arm area. I sent them an e-mail and they shipped me the nuts free of charge. I could not say enough good about how great their customer service was both from Buds and Standard. Very happy buyer with both the weapon and interaction with both companies.

Service from Bud's Guns was outstanding as always. I have not been happy with Standard Manufacturing's customer service. This shotgun is a ton of fun at the range however maintenance is a real pain. Having owned this awhile I consider it a range toy. It is fun, just not reliable, dependable and easy to maintain. I can't recommend it for anything other than range fun.
