Shot it today, of the 4 different pistols I shot the Ruger made me look the best. And of the different pistols I took the Ruger was the least expensive. I appreciate all different types of firearms, from 200 to 2,000. And I can tell you this firearm is worth it! Most firearms that are trying to get a military contract, put a lot into it, this one is no different. It’s ergonomics, how it feels, shoots, reliability, accuracy, and just how it looks! Sorry not to mention it’s price you won’t go wrong!!

perfect fit and finish. Super accurate and love the optional grips to find your exact fit. No problems, over a thousand rounds without a hiccup. Super impressed and love this gun. Ruger makes a quality product, it looks and feels like the quality I expect from Ruger.

The Ruger American chambered in 9mm is a great shooting gun. The action is smooth, the recoil is light on the hand, and the modular grip allows for easy handling for all shapes and sizes. Though not an IWB carry, this gun is still compact enough to be hidden behind loose fitting clothing and tucked away at the back of the hip. I highly recommend this handgun.

I have always loved the Ruger SR line but when I purchased the American 9mm I was really impressed

Very happy with the Ruger American 9MM. I have ran about 100 hand loads through it both my personal defense rounds a target rounds 124gr FMJ and Sierra Sig Sauer V-Crown both shooting small groups.... It also handles P+loads no problem. Little heavy for EDC, but manageable.....

My first handgun and I am not disappointed, I shot 140 rounds using the cheapest ammo with no issues. The American Pistol looks great, easy to disassemble, and accurate, I absolutely recommend this Pistol.

Overall i really like the interchangeable backstraps and feel with the ambidextrous mag release and slide release and safety. 17 round clip is a must especially when im at the range. Although i ended up buying a speed loader after the first outing to the range. Put 100 rounds through it and it performed perfect. When firing the rounds fast the gun was easy to reset on sites. Great gun for sure ruger american is a gun i love !
