Can anyone help me out with some answers about the recoil pad on this rifle please/thanks

The Pachmayr Rubber Recoil Pad is pretty decent, but there are more "effective" recoil systems/pads available especially for a .458.

Nice rifle. I love a good 458 Win Magnum. Workmanship was great. Bolt very smooth. Can't wait to go try it out.

A few years ago, I bought this exact rifle from a dealer that sells African Safari hunts. Rifle looked like new and probably only shot a few times. This is one of the best rifles I have held and/or shot. The Safair stock makes it a natural pointer. Everything about the action is postive (feding, ejecting, etc.). I will tell you that the 458 Win Mag will beat your shoulder up. Highly recommend CZ 550 of any caliber (My next one will be in 375 H&H). Overall just a super weapon.
