Never specified the bolt-face diameter. Almost had it out with a reputable gunsmith. The bolt-face of mine was chambered for rounds like 30/06 Springfield when I needed the dimensions to accept 300 win mag. So now my bolt is floating around the country to get cut to the correct dimension. Its very important to state critical information like this to consumers, especially since there are variances for an end result. Lucky for me, the diameter was smaller, not bigger than the caliber I intend to shoot.

The action is just what I expected. I did find that the ejector pin and spring were too long for the bolt. I had to shorten both of them to get the ejector to function properly. I found the purchase to be simple and easy as was having the action sent to me via my selected FFL dealer. The process was not clear to me until I actually began the purchase process: easy.

Nice polished blueing if that’s what you’re into. Squareness of bolt lugs and receiver are better than what I’ve seen on an assembled rifle as of late.
