  Stephen, no Sir - This is a Standard Long Action Bolt Face Compatible with .25-06 Rem, 6.5x55 Swedish, .270 Win, and .30-06 Springfield. I would contact Remington Customer Service to get the recommended Bolt for the 240 Weatherby Magnum at TEL: 1-800-243-9700.

• Q: Looking to build a .284 7MM , on a budget . Shooting the new Berger 7MM F-Class 184.
  I believe this action will work - Just want to double check .

  Brian, the .284, 7mm cartridges have about the same overall length as the .308 Winchester which puts it in the "Short Action" class of rifles/cartridges the same as toe .308. You would definitely need a "Short Action" Bolt such as : https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/2381/remington+action+700+sa+carbon+308
