I ordered this item and a mag extension for my 870 on a Wed. afternoon and received them on the following Friday. I was a bit skeptical before placing my order, as this was my first from BGS. Every good thing I have heard about Bud's is true. If you have any reservations about doing business online, go ahead and stow them, because Bud's service is excellent. On to the product: I'm very happy with this add-on from Butler Creek. It's full-length open, doesn't get in the way when it's closed, and is considerably more durable than the plastic models.
