I waited a long time before I bought this gun. I like the way it feels, it's a bit heavy for a old guy but the trade off is the fire power it provides. The 45acp is still tops in my book and this gun delivers a lot of knock down power. I'm very pleased with it was highly disappointed with the $100 debit card. I don't use debit it took a while to find someone selling gun parts to get what I wanted. S&W made a good gun but the debit card was a lower. But I'll keep this 45. Great gun.

This is my second purchase from BUDSGUNSHOP and I am a happy customer like always. As far as the M&P .45 2.0 I love everything about it. With it being a full size pistol and me being slim/160lbs, I thought I would never be able to conceal it. Able to with no problem at all. Only issue I have is with me being a left handed shooter, the slide release/lock on the right side is near next to impossible to disengage when the slide is locked in the rear position. Guess I'll just have to rack the slide instead.

Love this gun for a 45 ACP it is a very soft shooting gun. Did not have any jams or problems to feed. I would recommend this M&P to a friend. I think S&W has a winner here!

I bought this gun for duty use as a police officer since I heard the trigger reset had been improved. I have the previous model and the trigger reset is non-existent, but the 2.0 model is almost perfect. I love the aggressive texture of the grip and the trigger reset has been improved greatly (not as good as a Glock or H&K, but still much better). So far I have 2,000 rounds through it with no issues.

I have always loved the M&P45 and was anxious to give the 2.0 a try. I have had several full size Gen 1's and an M&P45c, and they have been my favorite 45 pistol of all time. I think the biggest selling point for me is that S&W kept the dimensions in thickness very similar to the 9mm/40 pistols, though this is done at the cost of capacity. The 2.0 is a big improvement over the Gen 1. I found the grip texture abrasive when I first held one, but after owning and shooting them I appreciate the extra traction that they give while firing. The Gen 1 45's were known for having sub par triggers, and the 2.0 is a significant improvement. There's a bit of grit still in the pull (guessing it will smooth out), but it has a clean break with an audible and tactile reset. Was intending to put an APEX kit in it, but its good enough that I will leave it as is. Gen 1 mags still fit and I applaud S&W for keeping the mags the same, as I had some old ones left over from my previous Gen 1 M&P45's. Works with all of my standard Gen 1 10 round mags and I picked up two factory extended 14 round mags that also fit without issue. On my first range trip I ran a couple hundred rounds of mixed ammo (reloads, factory, etc) with no malfunctions. Unchanged from the Gen 1 for me is that the M&P45 2.0 continues to be the softest shooting 45 I have owned. My only two complaints are personal preference and an "issue" with the 2.0's in general. First I hate that they added the detent to the slide release to remove the "auto forward" feature when inserting mags. All of my full size M&P gen 1's in all calibers worked consistently with this feature and I really miss it, it really sped up my reloads. The other is the removal of the front slide serrations on the full size M&P45 for the low profile ones that are on all 2.0 models. I prefer to do press checks from the front of the slide and miss the serrations for easier manipulations that way, the low profile ones seem to be purely cosmetic and not useful in that regard. In any case, I whole-heartedly recommend the M&P45 2.0! I don't think the M&P45 has ever been a great seller for S&W, so I was glad to see them bring the 2.0 configuration to market.

Buds, as always was awesome!! If you purchased firearms from anyone else you are making a big mistake!!! The M&P 2.0 is all it is advertised to be and then some. I have older generation 9 mm, 40 S&W and shield and the 2.0 is Such an awesome improvement. Get it; you will not regret. It!
