• Q: i am looking for a 45 that is at a low cost but reliable. The ones I have come across are between 550 to 700 dollars. And I see this one and I wonder if it is worth the buy. The only draw back of the 45 guns is the capacity. And this one has a lot. So my question is how is the durability, reliability and feel to the gun.

  Vincentw, This SA firearm is a great value. Very dependable. Yea it has good capacity for 45 ACP. It is a BIG gun. I have the XDM model with threaded barrel and love it.

• Q: These guns were in stock for quite a while all of sudden they are all gone when i was about to purchase them lol...When will these come back in stock?

  This gun (XD Mod2 5" Tactical) has been discontinued by Springfield. That\'s why it was recently slashed to $359. I just ordered two more this weekend when i saw them discontinued and marked down for clearance. The other one i purchased in June 2018 (also thru Buds) was $534. I doubt they will come back in stock since they it is discontinued. If you hurry, you can Google the part number (XDG9545BHC) and find it somewhere else also for the clearance price before everyone else sells out. I can tell you they won\'t last long at this price. The 5\" version is not even listed on the Springfield website any longer with the other Mod2s.   Walter, it is a \"Striker fired semi automatic\" same as the Glock line of Pistols. All Trigger pulls are the same.

• Q: does this have a manual safety and chamber load indicator ?

  John, this model has no manual safety, just the trigger and grip safety. There is a loaded chamber indicator tab on top of the slide that slants upward when there is a round in the chamber and lays flat when the gun is unloaded.
• Q: Do these XD pistols still come with all the extras? Mag pouches holster, cleaning kit

  No they come only with mags, paperwork and lock. Springfield runs a "gear up" special sometimes where they do a 'rebate' in the form of a holster and a mag pouch, or other gear. Get with them or visit their web site, and see what might be offered at the present time.
