The Springfield Armory Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP) translates the
benefits of the full-size 1911 into a smaller platform perfectly suited
for today's most popular defense caliber. Easy carrying and smooth
shooting, the EMP is built with a forged frame and slide to last a
lifetime. To capitalize on the smaller caliber refinements, the EMP
features a shortened frame and action compared to its full-size
counterpart. The reduced grip radius produces a remarkably comfortable
shooting experience and makes the pistol a concealable and confident
side arm. The forged steel slide of the EMP is both rugged and
practically indestructible, while a patented forged aluminum alloy frame

buds was good as always. The gun is stupid accurate. Anybody who touches it becomes a better shooter. Well worth the price

This was my first Springfield armory purchase. I own several Kimber and Sig, but when I loaded the magazines with nine rounds as they’re supposed to contain, the gun will not accept the magazine you take one round out eight rounds in the magazine, and the gun will accept the magazine. I called Springfield armory, said that is the way it is It’ll take a while for the magazine to work in? The spring is so stout because of the small pistol that it takes a while for the spring to work in. I said well that doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense cause it seems to me that R&D dropped the ball you would think you pay $1300 for a pistol that it would operate correctly. they claim their customer service is the best…… not so much needless to say I’ll never buy another Springfield armory pistol.

this is a wonderful accurate light EDC my favorite I carried for long time . I went back to my Kimber only cause I was putting a lot of wear on it climbing around and well it is damn pretty! when I bought mine they were far an few in between . Oh I've had offers I tell am Bud's has em again highly recommended you won't be disappointed
