It seems to be a C or C when it comes to one’s expectations for refinement. It is a solid build however. Two issues I have are the safety and mag release. They are a two handed operation out of the box. I’ve cleaned the weapon and still it’s a two handed operation for the mag release. The safety is freed up some after many, many operation, but still very stiff.

Amazing firearm. Probably the most accurate handgun I’ve ever shot. Trigger pull is very short and recoil is very low. Can’t recommend this firearm enough.

What a relief to see the PB9108LCA Mil - Spec 1911 Bud's sent has an NM serial number start. Really a fine weapon. Fit and finish seem very good. Nice to get this into California..... My price was $608.00 on 10/15/17. I have a 1922 1911 my Dad used in WW II. I don't shoot it much these days as it is a matching numbered original Colt. Springfield Armory has done well in the Mil -Spec. Don't pass it up with Bud's easy pay 90 day lay away.

I bought this exact gun last March. As expected, Budsguns service is impeccable. For me this is a given as I had ordered several guns from them in the past. I shall continue to patronize Buds as they are one of the BEST if not THE BEST online website for purchasing firearms. As to the gun however, a few things need to be said. Fitting of slide and frame was not perfect as there was an overhang of the slide over the frame at the rear of the gun. I had to replace the disconnector because the stock part was subpar. The same can be said of the hammer hooks, nose of sear, and there was a chip in the hammer strut. I took care of all of the little things because I know how to. As to the misfitted slide/frame, I'll just tolerate it. I called Springfield, I was told it is " in spec ". In short, I am not too happy with the aesthetic of this gun as it came out of the box, nor of Springfield's customer service. This gun is more of a " fixer-upper ".
