Colt did not disappoint again. Great 1911.Bud’s was great to deal with.Great price, and fast shipping.

This is a perfect example of an outstanding firearm!! I just got it a few days ago and have shot a couple hundred rounds of 124 grain bullets. It shoots with a crisp trigger and is accurate, it just runs flawlessly. If I had the choice to make again, I would buy two.

I enjoy handling this gun and shooting it. I don't ask much more than that from a gun.

As always, Bud was fantastic! I bought this gun to see if CZ has helped Colt step up their 1911 game. Frankly, there's still a lot of room for improvement. The gun still rattles and it's still chock full of MIM parts. I'm not a huge fan of fiber optic sights, but if a gun, especially a target or competition gun has them, Dawson is the way to go. Colt didn't see fit to include any spare fiber optic tubing, so I had to immediately purchase some. Colt has also gone the Kimber route; including only one magazine with their 1911's. So that range days are not spent doing more reloading than shooting, I had to immediately buy spare magazines. On the plus side, the gun is an attractive gun; and it's a Colt. That means if I no longer want it, someone else will. Only time will tell. I'm giving 5 stars because y'all can read; and I don't want to do anything to hurt Bud's. Bud's is 5 stars; all day, every day!

Great gun, great machining. This is a really nice, but it did not come with an ambi safety as pictured on Colt's website. I was disappointed in this, although Colt doesn't claim it comes with an ambitious safety either. They should be more clear on their website.

Best gun Ive ever owned,its accurate, seriously, its super accurate. Was able to put bullets through one bullet hole. Well made and doesn't kick hard. I love this gun almost as much as I love my fiance.

I finally got my card from NYS to pickup this beautiful Colt Gold-cup Match in 9mm. I do own a Competition in 38 super and I love it. I wanted a competition gun in the less expensive 9mm. When I first took it to the range, I was floored by it's accuracy and feel. It is very tight with little to no wobble of the slide, reminds me of my Dan Wesson Classic Bobtail. The Gold Cup Trophy is exactly as described; a fine 1911 Government handgun. Function is smooth, accuracy spot on, and perhaps the finest 1911 I've ever owned. After a few days on the range, I'm ready to enjoy IDPA activities. The only oddity was the enclosed Operator's Manual which was for a standard 1911 Government 45 ACP. It didn't represent the 2017 trophy models and certainly not the 9mm I received. None the less, I figured out how to adjust windage adjustments. As usual, I found Buds Gun Shop processing and delivery spot on.
