Basically is your extremely standard ar15 with a few features make it lighter. If you buy this youll get a good gun. But youre going to want to find a handguard that will go over the weird gas block on this gun. Or switch gas blocks and get any free float handguard. Honestly, i sold/traded this rifle about 8 months after i got it. It ran great, the trigger wasnt bad for a stock gi type trigger. And honestly i just got to the point where indidnt want to have to replace the stock the grip the gas block the handguard etc etc etc... and i sold this to finance building my first AR. Which actually went fantastic. One of my best builds. Again... ill stress... THIS IS A GOOD GUN IT WAS ACCURATE AND RELIABLE... but you pasically have no option for back up sights, the super skinny barrel hearts up very fast, and modernizing this thing is going to take about the cost of the gun itself to make you happy. This would be a nice varmint gun for a rancher maybe. But some of the choices in this build make it unrealistic for anything beyond a handful of precise shots.

Buds was great on this purchase, Bushmaster not so goodUnnable to detach lower due to rear retaining pin not retracting enough to release. Buds was great on this purchase, Bushmaster not so great. Rifle problem, customer service of little help, long story but largely little useful response. Rifle needs return to factory, but electronic form for return will not accept E-mail address used to send it to me, without accepted E-mail cannot return the form I give up, will pay gunsmith for repairs Ordered another AR from Buds, NOT a Bushmaster-They got me once, not again.

Great rifle. I used 10 rounds to break in the barrel, alternating lube and round. I've fired close to 2000 rounds without issue.

I had the rifle for several years now. It works flawlessly. You can purchase cheaper rifles of the same quality I'm sure. But this one has several thousand rounds through it and has never had a problem so to me its worth the cost.
