You won't find a better trap gun for the money. Shoots soft, adjustable to your hearts content. Shot 10,000 rounds through it with no problems,other than two of the chokes are mislabeled. I would suggest measuring them.

Great value for the money. The gun itself is aesthetically good looking. Nice wood, all metal surfaces are impeccable. Easy to adjust for fit. Nice features: ejectors, barrel selector, adjustable comb, adjustable butt stock. Took it out of the box, adjusted the rib for POI and shot 20 out of 25 at trap. If I had to pick on one thing that I would like to see improved it would be how the rib is adjusted. It is not as slick as the rest of the gun but after it is set it is fine.

Got the shotgun then had to wait a week to go try it out. Since getting the gun I have put approximately 350 rounds down range, haven't had a single malfunction. Wood is gorgeous wood to metal fit and finish about what you would expect for a gun in this price range. I know a lot of shotgun snobs cuss the "cheap" guns but this shotgun is well made and shoots great, Only thing I would tell a would be buyer is don't mess with the rib until you get a chance to shoot the gun on the trap range, it can be a bit frustrating. I will and have recommend tri star to friends and family that are looking to get into trap shooting .

I recently joined a trap league and had never done any serious shooting before other than some occasional hunting as a kid. I had a Stoeger STF3000 but felt it was not going to hold up or be a good enough gun for a competitive trap league. I was looking for something that was not going to break the bank but have all the features and shooting performance of a $15,000 gun. I researched this gun on the internet and liked what I saw. The gun has lived up to all my research. I think it is just an awesome gun that sets up extremely well for my shooting and performs fantastic. The improvement in my shooting accuracy was amazing and helped me be the top performer on my trap team!

I just returned from my first shooting of this OU with sporting clays. Here are my first impressions. Out of the box: It's just the OU and the choke tubes with some basic tools. Nothing fancy here. It is a "budget" OU, so I didn't expect much else. Initial Tweaking: The fit was tight as a drum. It did come with a little oil on the pieces, but I was surprised at how much force I had to put in to open and close. I did work it in a bit, making it a bit easier. After 100 rounds of sporting clays, it was working just fine. Just needed a brief break in. Adjustability: This was one of the main reasons I picked this one as I was once told by a tailor that I'm impossible to fit. Don't know why. Adjusting the comb and stock was about as easy as changing a lightbulb. The rib just took a bit more concentration as the clips are spring loaded and really want to stay in the locked position. You can quickly change from keeping your aim high or flatten it out for different purposes. Trigger: I'm not one of those trigger aficionados. It seemed light and crisp to me. I pulled it and the gun went bang. Recoil: I was immediately on the second clay after shooting at the first, so there was very little lift. My shoulder also feels fine now after 100 rounds, where usually shooting 50-75 rounds in trap with my pump action would have me feeling sore. Looks: It's not as fancy as a $4K Beretta, but I got quite a few compliments on it. I'm impressed. There are a few points in the finish that I'd be livid if it was a $4K OU, but for $1100, I'll give it a pass.

I purchasing was so easy and efficient. When i received my riffle i was very impressed on the quality and the beauty of this riffle. Cant wait to shoot it this weekend.

This Trap gun is worth every penny. We purchased this for our son as a graduation gift. The fit and finish a really nicer than expected. This has the features of a gun costing more than twice the price. It can be adjusted for length of pull and cast. A really wonderful deal on the gun and service from Bud's.
