Does this model have the delta ring removed

Scott, the "Delta Ring" looks to be removed. To be sure, I would verify this at the source : Colt Customer Service at Tel: 800-962-COLT (2658) *Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm EST.

Scott, No the Delta Ring is right in front of the receiver. The gas tube runs from the gas block through delta ring into receiver. This firearm does have a delta ring on it just no hand guard held by it.

Will this gas block have enough clearance for a free float hand guard or do I need to change to a .750 gas block, I want to install a 15 inch centurian arms free float on it

Scott you should not have any issues with the "Low Profile" Gas Block as is and the Centurion Arms Hand Guard.

Is this model stamped M4 carbine? Also, is it a 16 inch barrel with a flash hider, or a 14.5 with a pinned flash hider?

Really like it. With so many choices out there I do think this one is solid. All of the markings on mine are seemingly the correct Colt markings indicating that most of the parts are in fact built by Colt. I heard people complain that after Colt lost the military contract that most of the parts were outsourced buy the one I received seems to be mostly made by Colt accoring to the markings. Other than that, it shoots great. No issues at all. My only complaint is the finish is not great. Paint chips off quite easily. Might have to get it coated. Not sure. Still giving it 5 stars because i do like it a lot.

I love my OEM II, it has all of the quality I’ve come to expect from a colt rifle and I was able to save on cost by putting some budget furniture on it. Highly recommend these rifles for someone who wants to get into building without taking too much risk to start

The naked LE6920 is likely the best option to build your custom AR. It’s all mil spec M4… I believe these are no longer sold into the civilian market …so finding one was a surprise. Packed in lots of grease and oil…so have your Ballistol ready. Very fast shipping to FFL with real time notifications along the way. Buds is my go to store …

Got the Colt today. It is was it is. Haven’t shot it. Decent shape with a few scratches in the magwell. I would advise to check yours over thoroughly. Mine came in a thin, beat up box with zero padding. Hopefully the UPS guys didn’t use it as a bench in the warehouse. My LE 6940 came packaged much better. Good luck.
