KeyMod system integrated in the SLiM RAIL (Slim Lightweight Modular). KeyMod is a recoil resistant, two-part, direct attachment method for accessories that offers outstanding return-to-zero when accessories are removed and reinstalled. SLiM RAIL 15.0 offers weight savings as well as cooling, ergonomics and modularity while maintaining strength and durability. The 15 inch rail gives operators the option to have the support hand extended out close to the muzzle allowing them to drive the gun more precisely and prevents over travel when transitioning between multiple targets. An uninterrupted picatinny rail on top and KeyMod attachment at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, ensures plenty of real estate for optics and accessories and allows for maximum sight radius for accurate shooting with rail mounted iron sights. Equipped with a free-floating, cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel, newly designed Daniel Defense buttstock and pistol grip with DD improved flash suppressor.

Outstanding product! The trigger is very responsive and the sighting is excellent.
The weight and balance is perfect. I have shot about 500 rounds so far, no issues at all.

By far the best ar to buy. Its craftsmanship is top notch. Buds is the place to buy with quick shipping and low prices. I recommend this to anyone buying a ar. Daniel Defense is a must have and buds is where to get it!

I waited till they started shipping these guns with the new furniture for the extra comfort. I was not disappointed, The rifle is better than I expected. I mounted Magpul Mbus pro sights, PA 1-6X mounted with AD-Recon QD, and a BCM keymod hand stop. The rifle is very accurate Daniel Defense makes one of the best on the market. The rifle fits together very tightly and feels more "polished" than most basic rifles. The gun comes with A hard case, a magpul gen2 mag, manual, and an optional but pad. The price seems to have gone up though I paid $1427 for mine. I've had it since 2/23/15

Very nice rifle over all. It functions as expected and looks great too. It is very light, i really like the keymod rail, and i also like the DD furniture. You really cant go wrong with this gun. My only complaint is the trigger. While not horrible, it certainly would be nice for this upper end rifle to come complete with something better. I added a geissele ssa to mine, and now i feel like its a perfect gun. If i had it to do over i think i would just get another larue predatar. After adding the trigger, the cost is about the same and i in my opinion the larue is slightly better quality. That is just my preference though.
