Received both RIA model 200's. Upon checking them for function I found the cylinder lockup, timing,sear engagement, single action cocking, cylinder rotation and trigger to be completely reliable. Upon researching this firearm, it was relayed that the frame is stainless steel, a plus. Both revolvers were purchased for woods carry-protection while hiking. Some may complain the finish is rough and parkerized but it soaks up the oil and DOESNT rust. IM not worried about marring the revolver against a log in a forest tight spot. This is a PRACTICAL masterpiece. Accuracy is spot on and capable of putting meat in the pot going single action at 30 yards. FOR ME, THESE REVOLVERS ARE BEAST IN APPEARANCE AND BEAUTY IN PERFORMANCE.

Nice revolver at a great price, shoots well right out of the box. As others have noted, it is dripping in oil, but that's no biggie, better than rust covered. Great service form Bud's, as usual. My only disappointment is that this isn't available with a 3-inch barrel.

Easy to operate with plenty of power for the moment. Function is excellent and accuracy is good. Especially like the finger grips.

5 stars all the way for me. What a great little gun. I finally got it to the range today and she performed perfectly right out of the box. It arrived with a fairly thick layer of grease and oil, but I would rather unpack a greasy gun than a rusty one. I cleaned it well and it worked just as it should. First couple rounds seemed high, but then later when I tried to hold low it was spot on so I think I was just getting used to the feel of it. Yes it kicks a little, but nowhere near a subnose. And it is no tack driver with fixed sights. But given the price point this is a great value. Just what I was looking for as a general purpose firearm. I have some snake shot for it and some hollow points for home defense if it ever comes to that. But this is a great gun to put in the truck, pack, or tackle box and not worry to much about. It is what it is and you get what you pay for. This item is made in the Philippines and has fixed sights. Nothing fancy, but then I didn't want fancy. I wanted an inexpensive utilitarian firearm, and that is exactly what I got. No operational issues in mine. I understand some others have had issues, but factory loads right out of the box fired fine and every one hit the target.

I had to do a full cleaning and re-lube out of the box. Beyond that the revolver has performed flawlessly. For the price it is a great piece. Thanks for yet another great deal Buds.

What a nice gun. It has a real feel of quality in hand. It is easy to shoot and a smooth trigger pull, plus the weight is just right to offset the kick. I was pleasantly surprised considering the low cost...Hicock45's video sold me on it.

I had been looking for a 38 Special revolver for a few months now and had been doing a lot of research until I decided on the RIA M200 since so many reviews talked about what a great value it is. I looked at many websites and while I could have bought it on sale from another site for $20 less, I decided to go with Bud's. As I know what level of customer service I will get from them. The purchase was easy and straight forward. The delivery to my local dealer was quick even though it was a special order. Thanks much!
