Just picked up my Henry 22 lever mag today. It is an absolutely beautiful rifle fit and finish is incredible. The Walnut stock is so incredibly deep dark and delicious. I belong to a gun club in Jacksonville Florida, I fully intend on putting 200 rounds through it the first time. For those who do not know it is a solid barrel. Action is incredibly smooth. You can wait till the Marlin comes back out, and pay over a grand. By this rifle you will have no regrets. And thank you to buds for their high quality service. Exceeded my expectations! This rifle is very well made and beautiful. It is my first Henry purchase as well as my first from Bud's. Beyond happy with both companies. It was sent out yesterday morning and I received it today, shipping was fast and the quality is there. Cycles smooth and shoots straight. Can't wait to bring home some rabbits with her.

Beautifully made and great workmanship. I have not been able to shoot it yet but it feels great to hold it in the firing position.

I bought the 22 mag lever action made by Henry. I have wanted one of these for a long time and once they were in stock I bought one. WOW! what a nice rifle this is. And its just a smooth as you have read. I took it to my buds land and we confirmed it was sighted in then went to his pond that was full of turtles. We have to keep the turtles thinned out or they would take over the pond. That rifle accounted for around 20 turtle kills. It was so much fun to shoot and I am a big fan of the 2 mag round. Now of course I want another Henry lever action. I just can't decide on which one. Maybe the 22lr Frontier model with the octagonal barrel. You can;t have too many lever action rifles. And with Ruger dragging their feet on producing the Marlin line Henry is the only game in town. If you decide to get one of the 22 mag lever actions you won't be disappointed.
