Was unable to get this to fire, although I have strong hands from 30 years of maintenance experience, could not get the trigger pulled with one finger. Weight of pull appears to be about 40 lbs or so. Took to gunsmith, said it was not worth repairing. Unsure what to do with it now, as it does not function. I would not reccomend anyone purchase this.

Fairly well made for an inexpensive derringer but the very heavy trigger pull makes it about useless.
Even using the “downward motion” they suggest to pull the trigger it’s too difficult to do, and especially would be in a high stress situation.

This is a beautiful piece but not worth buying! The trigger pull on it is so heavy that it takes two hands to fire! I might hang it on my wall but it will never be carried.

I purchased this derringer about a month ago... what a piece of crap!!! The trigger pull is over 30 pounds!!! I am a big and fit guy and I needed to use both index fingers to pull the trigger. I wish I could go back in time and stop that purchase. I wasted $114.00 plus processing fee with my gun store. If you want a small and reliable gun, get a NAA mini revolver... I own two (22 LR and 22 MAG) with the folding grip, never regretted those purchases.

This an excellent gun I use it for a every day conceal carry gun fits easily in the pocket shoots a powerful inexpensive round it has a cross bolt safety and the trigger is a heavy pull down and back so their is really no chance of a mistaken or accidental discharge I love it

I read the reviews on this gun before I bought it and watched U- tube videos of people shooting the Cobra Derringer's . After ordering I received the gun in 7 days at the FFL. It was my first time ordering a Gun online so I was a little nervous about it but it went very smooth. Bud's was great, kept me posted on the status of my order. I used a FFL they had listed on there web site. The Cobra Derringer is a neat little gun, very well made and beautiful, even more so than the picture showed. I haven't got to shoot it yet but can't wait. It is very small, nice pocket pistol. What's nice is I can buy different size cal. Barrels for it. From 22LR - 32 If it shoots as good as it looks I will be very happy.

I'm not a fan. My hands are too large to control this weapon comfortably. This trigger is very different to operate, pushing down while squeezing. A novelty at best, crafted nicely for the price but I had to part with it. 22WMR is a fun round, but I only managed 4 shots with it.

The Cobra .22mag derringer is a well built little gun! Very impressed so far, though it is loud for its size, due to having such a short barrel. I found it is easier and safer to shoot using both hands, and I had better accuracy shooting that way as well. Definitely a close up gun. But if were in a serious "pickle", it would be better than having nothing. It is so small, that you don't even know you are carrying it! Down the road, I may pick up another one, in a larger bore/caliber, like the .38, or save a little more, and pick up one of the Bond Arms Snakeslayers. Bud's was great to deal with, as well as the local FFL dealer I found. Thanks Joel!
