This is a awesome entry level AK. Some people don't like the thumbhole stock, but I do. It's comfortable to me, and it fired flawless right out the box! no oil or anything!

This is a NEW AK, not refurbished surplus. Ordered it online 2200 on Tuesday and received at FFL Friday afternoon 1300. Outstanding service Buds! If you are looking for an AK, then look no further. Best by for your dollar. No damage in transit. After a good cleaning it shoots like a dream. 2 inch groups at 100 yds. Quality fit and finish. All mags seated and fit with no play, Tapco, Magpul, and surplus metal. Only upgrade I will buy is a cage flash suppressor. Tapco G2 trigger group is smoother than any of the AR rifles I have fired. After serving in the Army for 30 years, I have fired the M-16 A1, A2, and M-4. I feel better armed with this M70 than any of the poodle shooters DOD issues.

I scoped mine immediately on arrival. The tall stock helps when using a scope. Zeroed in with 4, 3 shot groups, no group over 3" and the final group 2"@100m. A box stock stamped receiver AK giving 2" groups with Russian surplus ammo!!! Who would have thought??

Outstanding AK. Arrived in perfect condition - sights were spot on, barrel was arrow-straight, rivets all seated well, mag well was absolutely perfect. Finally got to shoot it today and the rifle was far more accurate than the shooters using standard russian mil-surp ammo. The stock is a bit tall (which is fine) but after a few mags it will beat your face up pretty well. I'd recommend a bit more robust compensator (I ordered the Tapco Intrafuse Slot Muzzle Brake) to ease that muzzle rise and subsequent face-punching. Overall top-notch AK, especially for under 600 bucks.

This is a great gun! I have had 0 issues with it after taking it to the range several times. Beautiful looking gun that shoots like a dream right out of the box. As always Buds was amazing and shipping was fast. I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a good AK-47.

I love this rifle! The picture is somewhat misleading however, being the cheaper model, there was no rail on the dust cover as their is in the picture. However, I don't mind that. As soon as I got it, I cleaned it and put two full 30 round Tapco magazines through it with absolutely no issues. The gun is very solid, with no wobble. It was extremely accurate right out of the box. I did five years in the Marines (Infantry), and have been a police officer for five years. I have been issued and owned many high dollar AR-15s. While the gun may not be as "pretty" as the high dollar ARs, it works just as well. I have zero complaints about my rifle. If you are thinking about buying it, do it.

Awesome gun! Mine came with 2 x 30 round mags which fit snugly. No wobble. It also came with a double stack bolt and a cleaning rod. Can't wait to get to the range. Thanks Buds!
