STOEGER CONDOR OUTBACK O/U SHOTGUN

With 20” barrels, the Condor Outback is easy to maneuver and quick to shoulder, whether in tight cover or home protection situations. The 12-gauge or 20-gauge Condor Outback features 3” chambers and a box-lock type, over & under action. Extractors lift empty hulls from the chamber for easy removal.
     The open, rifle-style sights include a notched rear sight and fixed-blade front sight for quick target acquisition and precise aiming. The Condor Outback shoots a wide variety of ammo, from slugs to magnum turkey loads.

     Improved cylinder and modified, screw-in choke tubes are included. Accessory choke tubes include flush and extended cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, and full.
     The Condor Outback features machine-turned, jeweled monobloc sides and is available in a variety of finishes: American walnut, polished nickel, and black finished hardwood.

So far so good, I have about 200 rounds thru it. The gun handles well and looks nice. I got it because the manual of arms is simple in a emergency but the fun these things are at banging clays at close range is quite addictive. I had a internal hammer pin walk out that disabled the 2nd barrel but it was an easy fix. It has a 5yr full warranty so for the the money it's hard to complain. Beware this is my first breakopen shotgun and two weeks later I was buying a beretta silver pigeon....

I want to pass along to all of my fellow shotgun lovers my thoughts on the Stoeger Outback 12 ga. shotgun. First let me say, I have wanted one of these for years and just never pulled the trigger to purchase one. Well about five months ago I bought one from Buds Gun Shop at what I thought was a price too good to pass up. I wish I would have bought one years ago. The Stoeger Outback is one well built, tough, and handy little shotgun at any price. I would recomend the outback 12 ga. without hesitation. It is truly a jack of all trades shotgun. Love mine and doing business with Buds.

I live in the South and have been hunting with shotguns all my life. A number of members at my hunt Club have these and highly recommended them. After shooting one, I wanted one. They are built solid. I wanted a 20" barrel and they are hard to come by with the ability to change out chokes. Especially for Deer Hunting. I hunt in lot of swamp and thick brush. This gun is great. I love the fiber optic sights. The gun shoots fantastic. I have gone through about 300 rds of Buck shot, a lot of bird shot and about 100 rds of Slugs. Handles all great, nice groups. This is not a high end gun with a lot of engraving. It is a WORK HORSE. Locks up solid. Great extractors. This shotgun is better built than many people realize. Nice Walnut. I did take the time to do a little polishing on parts, but other than that, it is ready to get to work. I did buy additional Chokes to go along with the two it came with.

Purchased the Stoegor Outback. Buds Guns was awesome fast processing and shipping. Picked up gun at cabelas inspected everything looked like it was good to go. Got gun home and tried to change chokes. Upper barrel was fine the bottom Barrel was cross threaded. Very disappointing someone on the assembly line had to know it wasn’t right. However I contacted Stoegor claims and was instructed to send back to factory at their expense. It’s only been 9 days but haven’t heard back.. Neat shotgun poor assembly... Waiting to hear back from manufacturer

I am pretty happy. This was a leap of faith in a way, buying online and a gun that I’d fell in love with without ever holding one. It is a bit stiff, will have to be worked in, but turns like a part of your body. I got this because I like shotguns, prefer them over most firearms. The short barrels make this a beast, love it. It did arrive with about a 3 inch scratch on the left side of the stock, minor. This was the best price I’d found, the layaway had worked out well for me. My only real complaint is a minor one, I would have liked the time between payment and shipping to have been a little quicker, some of that was me. When you wait a month on layaway to get a new gun, you’ve about run the extent of your patience. This is my third Stoeger. I have a pump and an auto, all three are great values. No trouble with any of them.
