This is a Ruger Standard Mark II, a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22LR. The MK II was made from 1982 until 2005. The original Ruger Standard model was introduced in 1949, and was the first product manufactured by Sturm, Ruger and Company. It was marketed as an inexpensive .22 caliber rimfire intended for casual sport and target shooting, and plinking. The Standard series went on to become the most accepted and successful .22 semi-automatic pistol ever produced. This pistol is an NRA Commerative edition and features white grips, an engraved receiver, two magazines, the original box and a holster.
