I was really looking forward to getting this stoeger for 3 gun. For me, the length of pull was a little long. But the weirdest thing was the trigger pivot makes you pull the trigger up into the wrist of the shotgun and I felt that the wrist was "shallow", sort of like the straight wrist on a lever action rifle. I was just not comfortable with it. I sold the gun to a guy who was 6'-4" and he loved it. I went back to a JMpro 940. I wonder why Benellis are so popular?!

Best shotgun Ive shot. Flawless cycling. This is by far my favorite gun. Ive shot maybe 400 different guns in my life and this one feels like it was built for me. I originally I got it for practical shotgun and 3-gun but I find that I shoot sporting clays with it more than any other shotgun. Last time we hit the shotgun golf course. I think i shot 150 rounds and I busted 142. Lost a few at the FITSAC end of our venue lol. If you want a great competition shotgun or something for some awesome range fun, this is it. I can't recommend this for hunting or home defense. Its long with a massive OEM capacity. I also wouldn't compete in clay shooting matches with it of any kind. However, if I had to pick one shotgun for life, it'd be this one.

Bought for three gun competition. We like the shotguns quality. Great shotgun

Slick shotty! Ive only run 25 rounds of birdshot through it 1295 fps. Ran em all right out of the box. The inertia system is much smoother than my CZ 712.

Quick shipping.. thanks Bud!
Shot 75 1oz target load during the first range trip. Rapid fire was not allowed at the trap range but every one of those 75 shells went with a bang and ejected with no failure. The light loads even with a brand new gun did not created any issues for me. Loading port may need more work for quick dual or quad load but overall, can’t beat the M3K for value!

I've had this for about two months now and have put over 1000 rounds through it thus far. It's run great and with only two minor hiccups that were easily fixed. Love this gun.

Buds was awesome, shipped the gun quickly as usual.
Ran 40rds of buck and 50rds of bird the first outing. The oversized bolt release paddle flew off near the end of the range trip. The screw sheared off and was left in the bolt release itself. I was still able to use the bolt release and continued to shoot until the stock became so loose I couldn’t hold it still.
Stoeger shipped a replacement bolt release paddle screw. I was able to tighten the stock but it required a deep well socket (which I didn’t have).
The gun now runs great again. Only had 1 fail to cycle during the first 50rds of bird. Has run another 200rds of 3dram birdshot with no issues.
I guess I can forgive the QC issues due to price compared to similar guns. These are not in stock often, but I would highly recommend. Only lost 1 star due to initial issues but they were easy fixes.
As always, no issues with buds.

Great dealing with Bud's, as usual. Always fast shipping and no hassles. I purchased this shotgun to start competing in 3 gun competitions. It was priced very reasonable. I have yet to fire it, but I have read pretty good reviews on it and the cost made sense for just starting out in 3 gun.

Purchased less than 1 month ago and took it out on 12/1/19 in order to do the break-in per instructions. Well, after approximately 36 rounds of hunting loads to break in the springs the bolt release pin/screw broke when I pushed the blue bolt release tab. The tab or button was very stiff and I had to press pretty hard to get the bolt to release. I figured that was part of the break-in. Well, it broke alright and now I need to make a warranty claim and ship the gun back to Stoeger at my expense for them to review the claim and examine the gun in order to determine if they will cover it under the warranty. I bought this gun because the gas rings in my JM Pro came apart while shooting it in competition. Mossberg and the gunsmith told me they never saw anything like that before but I have read the forums and seen other similar complaints on the JM Pro. I haven't seen this complaint about the bolt release on the Stoeger though. I have no idea why it happened.
Right now until I hear from Stoeger and get to use this with the regular ammo I have no idea how to even rate the product. I will say that the choke came loose even though I made certain it was tight using the supplied wrench and the extended magazine tube cap also loosened up. I was checking for those things and caught them while shooting.
