I ordered two (2) 150 round packs of Federal .223 Rem 55 grain cartridges, along with a number of other items, a fairly substantial order all in all. These two packs appeared to have been opened. The clear round non-tamper seals showed evidence of being opened. The cartridges within each box were a jumble and not packed as you'd expect from the factory. Naturally, you could assume some movement during shipment. So, I counted the rounds in each box. The first box contained 164 rounds, with one round showing brass case damage. The second box contained 153 rounds, with one round showing a slight ding in its case. I did a quick random sample to check headstamps and all showed as 223 REM. All cases were bright. All cartridges looked good. These are probably just fine. But I have to take it on faith that these are 55 grain bullets. A bit disappointed in this part of the shipment to be quite honest.

Shot my first box of four purchased this weekend without any issues.
