Is there anything different between this revolver and the Cimarron pistoleer? I know they are all Uberti but I was wondering if the quality of the finish may be different other than color.

Jason, this is a big online debate Wich ones better. Does seem from people who have owned both tend to say the cimarron has better fit and finish and slightly better trigger. They're both made by uberti like you said so I can't see there being much of a difference if any. Either way both are fine revolvers. Hope this helps some and good luck with your choice.

Hi, All Uberti 1873 made after 2016 comes with a transfer bar and a new Uberti retracting firing pin safety system which is 3 clicks now. I hope this helps.

Love this pistol. The action is smooth and crisp. The finish is nice, I did polish the brass myself which makes the firearm pop a little more. The only thing I have against the firearm is that the grips are made for this single firearm, I’ve tried twice now to, change to custom grips and was unable due to the fact that they firearms frame trigger guard and backstrap or all unique to this single pistol. All in all, it’s a great firearm and you can’t go wrong with the purchase. Of course, buds is the absolute when it comes to purchasing fire arms online.

I purchased this pistol 2 Christmas ago . I knew I would love it and I do . I have had 0 issues with it . From time to time I have taken it to steel challenge and can’t quite compete with semiautomatic pistols this one gets the job done . FYI it does turn heads

Fit and finish are great, the pistol functions perfectly. Ran about two hundred rounds thru it with no problems. Would definitely recommend Uberti colts to anyone looking for a fine hand gun at a great price from Buds. As always Buds service is top notch, quick free shipping is a plus.
