  Hi Craig, no sir, the Lynx pump action shotgun has a tubular 5rd magazine. It does not accept detachable mags.

  Yes, but as mentioned below the magazine needs to be fixed to receiver.
  In California, the magazine capacity for shotguns is limited to 10 rounds:
  Fixed magazine: Shotguns must have a fixed magazine with a capacity of no more than 10 rounds.
  Semi-automatic shotguns: Semi-automatic shotguns with a detachable magazine are legal if the magazine can be removed without tools.
  Barrel length: Shotguns must have a barrel length of at least 18 inches.
  Overall length: The overall length of the shotgun must be at least 26 inches.

  Hi Jeff, I think not. Prohibited - A non-tubular, detachable magazine, box, drum, feed strip, or similar device that is capable of
  accepting more than 8 shotgun shells when combined with a fixed magazine.
  Semi-auto shotguns are limited to 8 rounds.
