I’ve always wanted a Colt detective special but it was always out of my price range! My father had one when he was a detective in the Chicago police department! This Colt King cobra was the next best thing so I bought it. Handles very well with .357 lighter grain rounds and .38-P I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Buds

I really love this revolver. Alittle heavier then the Smith 640 I replaced it for,but it has a extra shot and smooth out of the box action. The blemished model didn't seem to be in bad shape nor the box. A great bargain.

Very pleased with my purchase. Great service and communication from Bud’s as always. Have been wanting a short barrel .357 for a while and the deal on these blems caught my eye. Had to look extremely hard to find the blem…a tiny scuff on the side of the top strap. I plan to carry it in the woods and in my truck, so this was no big deal to me. Proud to be a first time Colt owner!

Was super excited to get this, but sadly took it out to the range and had all sorts of issues with it. Cylinder grinding and locking up, even popped open once when it was not supposed to. Tried about 6 different types of ammunition and put around 200 rounds through it and nothing worked properly. Sending back to Colt. Not happy since it was supposed to be a carry gun…

The gun failed on its second 6 snap caps, something broke off in the gun and fell out. Looked like a really cheap piece of MIM material. I guess to Colt it will go. Knowing Colt service, I may see it again before I die. The gun looked really nice and had a really good action-for 9 pulls of the trigger.

Well, this was a pretty wise purchase. I saved a chunk of change and received a fine piece of Colt hardware. My particular King Cobra had just a little scratch on the front of the lug just below the barrel crown, but other than that, it appears like a new firearm should. It functions, looks, and feels perfect. While the scratch on mine is simply a small cosmetic error, I was able to to buy 100 rounds of ammo with the money I saved buying this blemished model. I could have bought more, but I had to pay transfer fees at my local FFL. Buds was quick to ship and made the whole process simple. Bottom line, If you are looking for a snubbie Colt, this is a great buy!

I bought this because of the great reviews, and it was well worth it. The gun has some slight scuff marks on the frame right above the grip. But that would happen after two holster draws! Can’t beat that savings, and the team at buds never disappoints! I would suggest this deal to any of my friends!

I bought the blemished King Cobra solely as a dedicated Colt carry option. One that I wouldn’t care if it got beat up a little bit. On the revolver I received, I could not find the blemish until I replaced the stock grips with boot grips. The grip frame had significant scuffs, which is absolutely fine with me. This gun is beautiful, and the blemish being under the grips is the best I could have asked for on a “blem” revolver. At the range, the trigger is substantially the same as my 3 inch version. I heard the 2 inch version had a better trigger, but it feels the same to me. No problems.
