Traditions Firearms OUTFITTER G2 .357 MAG 22 Black Synthetic - Blue/Black, 22" Barrel, 1 Round, Synthetic Stock

Only negatives I found on this gun is that it has a plastic trigger guard, and I would not recommend the Traditions brand scope rings. When you tighten the scope rings that will go sideways on the rail of the base if you screw them tight, so you have to leave them just a little over hand tight.
The other negative is that I believe that I bought the first one of these guns off the site for $241. I told all my friends they should buy one for primitive season in Louisiana. Unfortunately, demand has driven the price up about $121 more, and now that are a little aggravated that I did not buy them one when they were being given away. Sorry my friends.

Negatives are the manual block safety kinda moves easily and of course not fire if it has dun so, so you will want to either not use it and/or mk a habit of checking before firing which is a good thing ultimatley anyways and other issue is the break over lever is a bear to depress, but I'm sure this will loosen up over time and already has a little. So the important and most positive thing is accuracy all the way out to 100 yards. Fiocci sjhp had best results of at least 7 dif ammos with 1inch groups at 25 yards 2 inch groups at 50 yrds and 4 inch groups at 100 yrds which is phenomenal as compared to all the 357 pistols I've shot. I used a 3 x 9 x 32 utg scope and a drop reticle will b useful as there was a 3 inch drop or so at 100 yards. I bought this rifle for my wife and daughter to use if they choose to join me on a deer hunt, it's lightweight and no kick whatsoever even with hot load 357 rounds so they don't HV to close there eyes before they shoot lol always mks for a more accurate shot when ur not dredding the recoil lol anyways at 220 dollars what a steal thanks buds.

The Outfitter G2 357mag rifle is a nice single shot firearm and lots of fun to shoot. It was a great deal.

The Traditions Outfitter G2 rifles (357 mag and 35 Rem in my case) fills a niche in the single shot CF market abandoned by H&R (Remington). The workmanship is very good and the accuracy is excellent in my 357 (haven't fired my 35 Rem yet). I don't object to the plastic stocks but IMO the forearm shape seems to be more a function of style rather than utility. The only criticism I have is that the price is 30-40 dollars more than it should be. Considering the fact that there is no real competition in this market yet, the price is probably based on lack of product competition. Just an observation but there is more than a passing similarity between the G2 and the CVA Hunter series. I suspect that the action forgings may be from the same basic vendor though there are differences beyond that. In conclusion I believe that these single shot rifles represent a relatively low cost value for the hunter who can make 1 shot count.
