The PCR name stands for ‘Police Czech Republic,’ the group for whom the model was originally designed. Nearly identical in size to the CZ 75 Compact, it weighs in at a full 1/4 pound lighter owing to its forged aluminum frame, making it more comfortable for everyday carry. Very similar to the P-01, the PCR uses the same alloy frame minus the light rail, making it even more concealable.

Equipped with a decocking lever, the PCR is designed to be decocked before holstering. After decocking, the trigger pull is much like that of a double action revolver. While there is no need to flip a safety lever off, the relatively longer and heavier trigger pull for the first round requires the conscious decision to pull the trigger before firing. Other additions to the PCR include rubber grip panels, serrated front and back straps for improved handling and a loaded chamber indicator.

Outstanding firearm. Double action is quite a bit more stiff than I'm used to. If you complain about the double action pull on Beretta 92's, this is worse. Plenty of aftermarket solutions to that, however and the single action is great.

Love the CZ PCR very accurate and a pleasure to fire at the range. Sights are not the best but there are enough after market options to choose. Easily concealed in OWB for fall and winter carry.
This was my 5th purchase from Buds and completely satisfied as usual.

CZ pistols fit me better, and work for me better than any other maker. This is a lightweight metal pistol with great ergos and a quality trigger. Factory grips are very good, though I usually change them out for a pair of Cool Hands. For the price they demand you just can't beat CZ's metal pistols. Buds came through as always with an easy and trouble-free transaction.

Great gun! I've had its bigger brother, the CZ-75BD for several years, also a fine weapon. I really like the rubber grip on this new one.

I have been wanting the CZ PCR for about 3 years. I finally snapped the trigger and bought one. When the gun arrived I was quite impressed with the feel of this gun. Everyone I let hold it was equally impressed. The first trip to the range was pure joy. The single action trigger was light and crisp. The little CZ ran round after round. After every press of the the trigger, I was rewarded with a "ping" from my steel target. Dont pass on the PCR, you wont regret it.

I recently purchased a CZ75 D Compact PCR from Bud's and am very pleased with the service and the pistol. The gun was purchased for cancelled carry and works nicely for that roll. The pistol is also very accurate for a shorter barrel design. My son and I shoot at a local range and I find the gun fun to shoot as well. Thanks for an excellent buying experience and a solid product.

This pistol can be hard to locate and once you've had the opportunity to handle and run it you will know exactly why. It's simply one of the best feeling and possibly best shooting compact 9s that can be had. I've put all manner of ammo through it from cheap steel case fmj to plus P hollow points and so far not a single hiccup. I've wanted one of these for a long time and thanks to Bud's this one has found a permanent home.
