Great looking 1911. Love the charcoal gray cerakote. Kimber do make the best looking guns. Very solid and tight. Takes govt size magazines. All worked well 9 & 10 rd (mecgar, WC, Chip McC, Sig, kimber). Not thrilled about the use of a pin to do basic take-down. Would have liked it in light weight alloy - this is all steel.

This gun is absolutely beautiful! Plus, Buds sells this pistol several hundreds less than other online retailers. If you like 1911 pistols, this is a great buy considering the features, and the craftsmanship. Slide to frame fit is “perfect”, the barrel lockup is “perfect”, the Hogue laser grips have a great feel in the hand and the grip texture just feels right. This pistol is a great buy!

Good shooting pistol so far. No malfunctions as of yet with white box Winchester target ammo. Fit and finish feel good. The model i purchased supposedly came with night sights but the one I received was fiber optic only. Not enough to warrant a return.
