⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Stoeger M3000 Freedom Series Defense 12 Gauge I have mixed feelings about this shotgun. Out of the box, it was a bit of a letdown—it came coated in an excessive amount of cosmoline, parts were loose, and it wasn’t torqued to spec. I had to strip it down completely, clean and lube it, and even added a lock washer to the stock to tighten things up. At the range, things didn’t start off much better. On the first few trips, the shotgun had cycling issues, even with high-pressure loads. In an effort to improve reliability, I replaced the magazine spring with a Benelli spring, as well as the extractor and extractor spring. After putting a couple hundred rounds through it post-upgrades, it definitely cycled better—but still not enough to consider it reliable for defensive use. I wouldn’t bet my life on it in its current form. That said, if you’re comfortable doing some tinkering and upgrades, this shotgun has potential. But if you’re looking for something out-of-the-box reliable, this probably isn’t it.

This shotgun has been one of the best shotguns anymore can buy at any price point for a semi auto/self-defense/tactical shotgun regardless of the name brand. Low brass ,bird shot,full power buckshot or 3in.shells doesn't matter!! Everything runs & runs & runs without hesitation.I have not cleaned this shotgun in over 545 rounds to date. Buy the more expensive, big name shotguns if money is no problem. I have a Benelli and a Mossberg 930 that cost way more but don't perform any better than this budget priced Stoger that I would put up against any shotgun being made today by ANY manufacturer of shotguns today. You really need to get one

I absolutely love this shotgun if you want an affordable tactical shotgun the storeger M3000 is your go to. I’ve shoot at least 300 rounds through and haven’t had single jam mind you I’ve only shoot with 00buck unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to try bird shoot besides that everything about this gun is just beautiful. Honestly I was a bit skeptical at first but ones I took it to the range I was sold on it once I let off the first round. The charging handle is the perfect size big enough so you can comfortably grab it but not to big where its in the way. The gun feels well made nothing feels lose or cheap its easy to disassemble and reassemble and with 7 1 capacity you definitely feel more confident in the gun knowing you have some extra stopping power 10/10
