Took a whitetail doe at just over 100 yards using 140 grain soft point. Added a Vortex red dot, rested bench shooting I'm getting a 2.5" group at 50 yards. 4" group at 100 yards. I put a Browning Hawk muzzle brake on it, really helps tame the recoil. Great fit and finish, want to get another in 300 blk.

This weapon is very accurate. Topped with Holosun and 3x magnifier. I have not missed. Bud’s came thru again.

I have two of these CVA Scout V2 LR Pistol 14" 6.5CRM, one for my wife and one for myself. My son has one and a friend of mine has one. We all really like them. I have had mine the longest and originally had it topped with a red dot sight. The firearm performed well with the red dot, but I never could get a tight grouping with it. I have harvested the only deer that I have shot at with it. I have switched over to a Leopold scope with low scope mounts. I added a BSA with raised mounts on my wife's so that she could access the hammer more easily. My son has the same BSA scope with low scope mounts. We have 3 different combinations of scopes / mounts but we can not get them bore sighted accurately. Is this something to do with the Scouts rail, the particular mounts or what? My second point about these firearms is, they came with studs, but not sure what they are for or where they are to be placed. There were no instructions that came a long with them. More about the firearm themselves. My wife had never shot a gun before. On the day that I took her out starting with smaller calibers, she was able to fire the CVA Scout with minimal intimidation and handled it well. It is very comfortable in the hands and doesn't have an extreme recoil as you would think (due to its weight). It is easy to shoot from a tree stand or the ground (we do; however, use a monopod for stability).

Oh yes, I enjoy shooting/hunting with this CVA Scout pistol in 6.5 Creedmoor It is made with Stainless Steel and made right, very accurate, drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Recoil is very tolerable. I want to have another in different caliber likely a 35 legend. You will be satisfied if you get one just like me.

CVA makes a great product this pistol shoots sub moa with 90 grain varmagedons. It is a handful but what else would you expect!

Hands down the best single shot pistol for the money. Great trigger, and capable of fantastic groups. Mine shoots sub 1.5 MOA at 200 with inexpensive factory ammo. Can't wait to see what it will do with proper handloads. Think I may need another, 350 legend, perhaps.
