Best price found for the Wiley Clapp edition of the SP101. Great revolver, built like a tank and with spring changeouts and a little polishing it has a great action.

The perfect "pocket rocket." Sturdy & stout when you need it. This is a defensive handgun of the highest quality. It is not an offensive weapon. That said, if you need more than five rounds for defense - you are in the wrong place. However, this thing handles full bore .357 loads with no problem. Would I want to shoot 100 rounds in a day at the range? No. After 50 or so, your hand WILL know it. It eats .38 SPL P like tic-tacs all day long. I carry this workhorse in a cross draw leather rig 75% of the time and a custom leather shoulder holster the rest. It also carries nicely in a belly band. The weight on the barrel is noticeable and reduces muzzle flip quickly. Ruger's got a winner though I would shed the gold dot for a fiber optic front sight. Sure as shootin', you'll LOVE this Lifesaver.

I love this revolver!! Perfect size to carry in the woods and still shoot 357 loads. Also great sights for a small revolver.
