Fantastic slug gun. I love the fact the 220 has the famous accu-trigger which allowed me to set my pull to about 1.75 lbs. Nice and crisp. I have shot federal trophy copper and seen in my picture with great results and the barnes vortx also is dead on. Had no issues with shipping and a shotgun arrived in perfect shape. Cannot wait for this upcoming season to try it out.

Game changer. Accutips my wife clover leafed 3 rounds at 100 yards. I was able to shoot 200 yards with it no problem. Killed a decent buck with it at 40 yards ha ha.

I have wanted to down size from a 12 gauge slug gun to a 20 gauge for some time and I heard some good things about the Savage 220. I was very pleased when I opened the box and saw the Savage 220. The gun has the accu stock that allows you to customize it to your liking so the gun can be made to fit you. The gun has no sharp edges and the bluing is very deep. I read stories of this gun shooting clover leafs out at 100 yards and with the Remington accu tips my shots placed off a rest where well within one inch. This shotgun is really a rifle and I’m sure when deer season comes around it will be just the medicine for deer.
