Got this Remington #81180 for rascals, miscreants, tweekers, the EPA, and the Tyrannical Aristocracy. Seriously though - the 110 lb wife is totally comfortable firing this 20ga AND CAN USE IT EFFECTIVELY with the recoil reducing Knoxx stock - yes, it really works. Paired with Rio RB209 #1buck x 9 and it is the perfect combination - pity the Tyrannical Aristocracy! We have found this to be the ideal solution for the aforementioned situations... Buds is painless and Arrow Security FFL 85306 is equally painless - highly recommended!

Buds was fine. However the shotgun had a 1.5 inch scratch on the side of the receiver and some on the barrel. Not enough to return, but disappointing to have it come from the factory like that. So make sure you look it over before accepting.

Let me say I am a gun novice. I purchased it with the thought that both myself and the girlfriend could shoot it and get experience together(She's about 120 and a regular 20 ga. single shot bruised her arm, I didn't want her to develop a flinch). She hasn't shot it yet, but I'm sure she'll enjoy it. Very, very little recoil, lot's of fun to shoot. Put about 30 shells through, works perfect. Very pleased.

I love this little shotgun. Completely reliable, 6+1 is plenty of firepower, 20 gauge in 2 or 3 buck will stop anything, and it is handy. Compared to either of my full sized mossberg 12 gauges, I prefer the Remington for maneuverability and workmanship - it just feels well made. Although I like the safety position on the mossbergs and I like that you can just drop and load shells very simply with the mossberg vs. the 870 which requires a more complex, down and then forward movement due to the guard on the bottom of the mechanism. For loading - the mossy is definitely easier. No biggie at the range but in a high stress situation where you needed to reload the mossy would be preferable and the safety is in a more visible spot. All the same, the Knoxx is a lifesaver for a lady or for an older person. I initially picked one of these up as a Christmas gift for an elderly family member - she loved it - then I had to grab one for myself too. Good gun. Of course, Bud's has been great. I rarely bother shopping elsewhere.

Fantastic Shotgun and Buds got it to me quickly without hassle. The knoxx stock works great reducing the recoil and adjusts to 6 different lengths making it ideal for everyone. The 870 action works super and I've got just over 250 rounds down the tube so far without any problems. The 20ga is plenty powerful for home defense or plinking or hunting. The gun is light and handles very well and the 6+1 capacity is a big plus. I would highly recommend this shotgun to anyone looking for a new tactical that can handle any situation.
