I purchased this rifle nearly 7 years ago to this day. I initially broke it in by shooting less than a box of ammo through it, in a successful effort to sight in a scope. The rifle was shooting as advertised, tight 3 and 5 shot groups at 100 yards with predictable consistency. The workmanship on this rifle was stellar and the esthetics of the rifle in general are very typical of Weatherby's traditions over many years. It's a keeper, and because it was so beautiful, I have kept it in pristine condition and never taken it out to hunt or shoot again. I intend that it will be a wonderful inheritance rifle for my family's younger shooters.
