Mark, The Weatherby Mark V centerfire, bolt-action rifle manufactured by Weatherby of Sheridan, Wyoming. Barreled actions for Mark V were made by ATEK in Brainerd, Minnesota. Mark V rifles are currently made in Sheridan, Wyoming. The action for Vanguard is made by Howa in Japan.The barrels for the Mark V had been made in West Germany years ago. The Mark V was made by Howa in Japan in the 70s. Hard to keep track of. Manufacturing moves around. Parts have been made one place and assembled others over time.

Mark, the Weatherby Mark V is assembled in Sheridan, Wyoming. Parts are still made or sourced in other countries such as Actions in Japan but are fully assembled in the USA.

The Mark V Deluxe comes equipped with an ergonomically designed "AA" fancy grade walnut Monte Carlo stock with a right side palm swell, detailed with a fineline, diamond point checkering, rosewood forend and grip with maple wood spacers. Featuring a high luster blued metalwork finish and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.
