Bought for my wife. She loves it. To small for me and hard to hit the slide release as it is smooth to the slide. Perfect pocket/purse gun for my lady though.

I bought this for my wife, and she said that she loves how small, slim, light, and smooth it is is, because it allows her to carry it in her belly band, garter, pocket, or small purse with easy, and most importantly, comfort. We took it to the range this past weekend, and fired four different types of ammo through it without any failures to fire or cycle. We fired Hornady Critical defense, Remington golden saber, Sig Sauer V-Crown, and Winchester white box. She was able to operate the slide release without any trouble, shoot one handed (left and right), and had satisfactory accuracy at 7 yards. I will say that the pistol is picky about chambering the first round if you do not rack the slide properly or fail to sharply release the slide catch. However, the Pico was didn’t care how you chamber the first round after the first 50 rounds, so you may want to consider a break in period before just carrying this firearm straight out of the box. This is a double action only hammer fired pistol, so it will require skill to be accurate at the range, but it’s perfect for pocket carry with a round in the chamber, because there is no safety to fumble with, the trigger is heavy with a hammer, so it will not get caught on something and fire easily like a striker fired pocket pistol could. My wife and I believe that this is a great purchase for the quality of Beretta, accuracy for a pocket gun, peace of mind it will fire only when we want it to, and the price for a good gun compared to other similar pocket pistols.
