This is a phenomenal, entry-level shotgun. I am a pretty experienced shotgun shooter, so I would demand a little bit more out of a sport or hunting rig (just being more ergonomic and better finishes). However, I bought this because I wanted to see if a shotgun at this price point would perform even close to my grandpa’s old 870… and I am very pleasantly surprised at its performance. It was a little clunky out of the box, it definitely needs some breaking in, but this is a great shotgun for this price point.

Bought this shotgun for the few times I get to go turkey hunting a year. Wanted a dedicated shotgun for turkey, and this one was priced right for the features you get pre installed. Over all thoughts, it has functioned flawlessly with several turkey 3” turkey loads. Patterned to 45 yards as that is the furthest I would typically have an opportunity in my area. With Remington nitro 3” 5 shot I was able to put 28 pellets in the vitals on a turkey target. The rest of the loads I tried were less, so I settled on those. I added some rattle can camo pattern on the metal just because and hit the woods. Was able to call in a gobbler to 43 yards and one shot was lights out. Fiber optic sight is serviceable, the optic rail was installed, so I took it off and bought some set screws to fill the receiver holes. Nice shotgun for lower volume hunting. Buds was easy to buy through. Would recommend both for someone wanting a decent “budget” shotgun.

This gun appears to be very well made. I haven't shot it yet but I don't see any flaws. Fit to finish is very good.

Seems like a solid gun at a very good price. It even came with a scope base rail which was a pleasant surprise. Haven't fired it yet but it cycles well. It also came with the correct plug for bird hunting. Overall you can't go wrong with it if you looking for a solid turkey gun.

Received the shotgun yesterday from the FFL. Only put 6 turkey loads through it today. Functioned flawlessly. Broke it down yesterday for a good cleaning and inspection. Only downside is that the barrel is a little tricky to get into the receiver, and no rear sight, but definitely not a killer.
Actually like that the bolt and carrier come out as a unit with the slide arms (appear to be permanently attached).
Did have a Carlson Xr choke tube. Should pattern just fine. Was able to see the wads heading directly at the dead tree we were using as a target (wasn't going to waste targets yet).
Overall, a very nice shooting and handling shotgun. Handles every bit as well as the Winchester 1300.

Best deal for a non - 28 inch choke threaded barrel 12 gauge in this price range! Cycles well, not a lot of play in the action. Handles the big boy rounds just fine. Very versatile shotgun once you get other choke tubes for it! Plug was easy to remove. Real nice cushioned stock.
